The festival was the first public exposure for Burragumbilli Organic Lager. The bar was rushed with people enjoying their first Organic beer experience and we ran out before closing time.
Here's the team dishing out some Burragumbilli.
Since then we have changed a lot about Burragumbilli. Mostly it's image and packaging, including a new carry basket and a new secret location for a our brewery.
However the beer remains as always "Organically Delicious".

Koala Beer had a very successful stall at the Gymea Hotel in Southern Sydney on Sunday. The weather was threatening and the beer was great. Hundreds of happy customers tasted Burragum Billi Organic Lager, some for the first time. The feedback was very positive and the Gymea Hotel Bottleshop did a brisk trade.

Fine Wine, Food & Spirits Trade Show Sydney - October 2007
We had our 1st - Beta trial with Burragumbilli, and we where up against some stiff competition. But Burragumbilli stole the hearts of some avid Beer Quaffers and connoisseurs of the Lager variety with thousands of samples being requested.
Initially people where asking what's the difference between a normal beer and an Organic one?
To which we had to ample time as they sipped and swished the beer around their palate and we talked about our special product.

After a gruelling nine hour drive from Newcastle I had arrived in Lismore for the Sustainable Living Expo 2008.
I thought I was up there for an Organic Expo, but as it turns out I was up there for something far more important.
Sustainable living is something I think we can all take on in some way and improve our energy and water usage and recycling. The Expo was a great demonstration on how to improve in these areas of our consumer-able lives.
The Expo was collaboratively put on by the Southern Cross University, the Lismore City Council, the Department of Education and Training (DET) and North Coast National A&I Society as an environmental collective. It explored the abundant renewable resources available to us, and showed us how to reduce our impact on our Earth with intelligent Environmental policies and practices.
There was everything from solar powered devices, solar heating products, wind powered products and insulating products and services, to hand powered generators. Let’s say you’re in the bush and your mobile dies, there’s even a hand winding gadget that’ll power your mobile phone - every make and model…. “WOW - was an understatement”
WWF, WIRES and other animal and environmental protection groups, AGL, Origin and Energy Australia were there to tell all about their up and coming “Green practices”.
Since Koala Beer provided the only “Organic Beer” stand in the whole expo, as you can imagine Burragumbilli Organic Lager was very popular with, well everyone! After all I was at home in Lismore with all the “Greenies” and avid lovers of Organic anything!
My favourite taunt for the weekend was, “If it’s Green you’ve got to try it at least once and maybe again just to make sure!”
